Family Pictures

I love to keep the family pictures updated so when my dad came to visit for some dental work I took advantage of him and made him take some family pictures.  We had a lot of fun and went to Red Rock for the pictures and then hiking after.  The boys love hiking there and climbing on the rocks luckily it is really close to us only about 15 mins away.  I love my cute boys and how fun they are!  They even put up with me making them pose for pictures well kind of.
 Braxton is 7 & 1/2
Corbin is 4 yrs old
Dylan is 1 yr old.

It has been really nice living a lot closer to family.  We have loved living in Las Vegas so far.  The nice thing is it is a place people like to visit so we have already had a lot of visitors and have loved it. My parents came down just so Kevin could work on my dad's teeth.  Now that we are closer he can do that.

A little about Corbin at 4 years old.
He loves Lego's!  Mostly the guys he likes to take them apart and put them back together in interesting combinations.  I have to admit this drives me crazy because I will find a lost had and arm in random places.  He loves to play with Braxton and is always asking when he is going to be home.
Corbin enjoys drawing, playing on the I pad and dancing he has some pretty sweet moves.  He is character he can be very happy but also stubborn he likes to try and test my patients.   I think this is a hard age for me when Braxton was this age he kind of drove me crazy too.  So with Corbin he can make me mad but he is also so sweet, cuddly and hilarious.  Sometimes when I am mad he will do something funny just to get out of trouble smart kid!  This year we have been doing home preschool so we have been focusing on ABC and 123's.  We are also doing some reading with phonics I found a great program online that he seems to like.
A little about Braxton at 7 1/2 yrs old.
Braxton is a very smart kid.  He is doing a great job in school and is learning things fast.  He is great in math he loves numbers and is often asking us math questions.  He is reading really well now and love Geronimo Stilton books.  He loves being the oldest because he thinks that means he can boss everyone else around.  He is definitely a leader, he follows the rules most of the time and is a great help.  He personality is so much like Kevin it is hilarious I think we have a little mini Kev in the house.
A little about Dylan at 1 yr old!
Dylan is so sweet and cute!  He is a very smiley little guy and so fun to be around.  He loves his brothers and want to follow them around and play with them all the time.  He thinks he is one of the big kids.  He even loves to wrestle his older brothers.  Corbin is very good to play and wrestle with Dylan.  Dylan think everything Corbin does is so funny no one gets Dylan laughing like Corbin well maybe Dad.  Dylan is taking about 10-15 steps when he turned 1 and by two weeks later he is walking all over.  He can go up the stairs and love to do it and get us to chase him.  Luckily over Christmas at Grandmas house he learned to come down the stairs pretty good.  He is a pretty good sleeper as long as he is in his own room.  He has 12 teeth already and loves to eat pretty much anything.  He is starting to make a lot of noise but now real clear words yet except Dada he has that one down and sometimes mama.  It sounds like he says all done but you cant really tell because he yells it we are not quite sure yet.  He was a big mamas boy but now he is starting to like dad a lot more.   We are so grateful he is in our family we all love him so much!  Braxton always tells him you are the cutest baby in the whole world!

Soccer Fun

Braxton wanted to do soccer this year.  So we signed him up for AYSO and they did a great job.  He did not know anyone on his team at first but he made friends fast and he loved playing.  Braxton can be a bit timid with the ball when he is playing a game but when plays at home he is very aggressive and does a great job we just need to get him to do that on the field.  As the season went on he continued to improve.  His team name was the Sharks.  He liked playing enough he wanted to do it again in the spring and Corbin will be playing in the spring too.

Halloween Fun!!!

We love Halloween around this house!  I love when we all do themed costumes but this year we could not get the boys to decide on the same thing!   Braxton was determined to be Mario and Corbin was determined to be Batman, so we decided to make Dylan Robin.  The boys were able to get a ton of candy because we went Trunk or Treating with the ward and went Trick or Treating around the neighborhood.
Dylan was so cute getting candy he was pretty excited about it and he was sticky mess!  But he sure loved the candy he got!  I love the green drool picture!  He is such a fun baby!  I love Halloween because kids are so excited about going around to get candy!  It is so cute and fun!
Kevin too the boys around the neighborhood and they got a ton of candy!  People were giving them handfuls because we did not have too many trick or treaters in our neighborhood.
This is their candy stash they received from a hours work not bad at all!

Pumpkin Painting!

For Halloween we LOVE to paint our pumpkins instead of carve them!  It is easier and a lot funner you don't have to do all the work of cleaning them out!!  Plus you can get very creative!  We did carve one pumpkin as a family and it rotted in one week but it was cute when we did it and it was fun because we did it with friends.

This was our cute ghost we carved.  The Smith's were nice enough to have us over and we had a good time carving pumpkins and eating soup.  I am glad I only had one pumpkin to carve since the boys would not touch the guts of the pumpkin!  But they had fun helping me carve out the ghost!
Braxton painted a Frankenstein pumpkin and we even put screws in the side to make more authentic!  Corbin painted a rainbow pumpkin jack - o - lantern he did it mostly by himself but needed a little help at the end so you could see the face.
I wanted to do something fun and different so I painted my pumpkin into a minion.  It turned out so cute I think it is my all time favorite pumpkin.  Kevin went with a creepy clown pumpkin.  Kevin likes to give me a hard time because I get so into painting pumpkins.  I think I like it more then the kiddos!

Red Rock Party!

Jacob Childs Birthday is the same day as Corbin's.  They were nice enough to include Corbin in his birthday is Jacob's birthday festivities even though he is younger.  But they went hiking up to Red Rock canyon and I tagged along to help.  It was our first time up there and the cool things is it is just up the road about 10 min so we thought that was pretty awesome!   The boys loved it!  It will definatley be a place we go back to!
The boys are Braxton and Corbin, Spencer, Jacob and Benjamin, and another kid I don't know.  Thanks Childs for letting me tag along with you!

Corbin's Lego Star Wars Birthday Party!

The Invitations were this picture of Corbin and then the following instructions but on the invitations it was in the Star Wars writing so it looked really cute!   But it was fun to make them.
Four Years ago in a Galaxy far far away a powerful force was born.  Jedi Corbin Baldwin had been brought into the Galaxy.  The council has now asked him to help search and find more Jedi Nights to Ensure the force remains strong.  You have been chosen to attend the Lego Star Wars Jedi training course.  On Saturday, September 21st at 1:00 -3:00 you are to report to the docking bay at ...

I made Jedi Robes and the Light Sabers for all the boys!  They thought it was pretty cool!  But Corbin wanted to be different and decided to be Luke Skywalker instead! I asked Corbin who he wanted to come to his party and he said a bunch of the older boys!  I guess that is who he is used to playing with so he we had Braxton, Chance and Brody,  Jacob and Benjamin, Chris, Cody, and Mossimo.

Of course his favorite part was opening presents!  He got a new bike and a couple Lego sets so he was pretty excited.  I love the card Braxton made for Corbin it makes me smile to see them trying to write by themselves.  His letter is supposed to say: Dear Corbin I love you so much ever since you were born everybody loves you!  Love Braxton.
Kevin conducted a Jedi Training council and then shortly after that Darth Vader (aka Kevin) showed up and all the Jedi's attacked!  It was kinda crazy and I did not get a picture of the attack on Darth Vader but it was pretty hilarious!  Some of those kids hit pretty hard the things we do for our kids!  It was really nice to have Lindy out there to help us too with the party.  She had been out all week to watch the boys for me while I had orientation at work.  Corbin wanted to have the party with Grandma there so we did his birthday a week early but it was great and we had a lot of fun!

I almost forgot Yoda showed up for a little while too but he was kinda Grumpy as Yoda so he did not stick around for long!

Corbin loved his birthday and the party was a great success!  Corbin you are such a special little guy and you are always making us laugh!  You are so fun to have around and we all love you so much Happy 4th Birthday!

Kevin's Birthday!

This year we did not do much for Kevin's 31st Birthday!   He did not want me too.  He did not even want us to buy much for him because he had just payed a lot of money for a implant course he wanted to go to.  I told him that was a pretty boring present but that is what he wanted.  We did get him some new clothes and other little things but nothing to exciting.  Then we also went out on a nice Date just the two of us so that is always nice to go out and do something!
I love this man he is AMAZING! I don't know what I would do without him!  I love celebrating him and all his hard work!  Kevin you have accomplished a lot in your 31 years and you have made some really cute boys in the process!!  We all love you so much thanks for all you do and Happy Birthday!

Braxton 1st Day of School

Braxton 1st Day at D'Vorre and Hal Ober Elementary School.  Most people just refer to it as OBER.  Their mascot is the OWL.   Braxton we really excited to go to school the first day and make new friends.  His Teacher is Mrs. Kuwata.
Braxton  was a bit scared to go to his first day of school but it helped that one of kids in our ward Garett Ranger rides the bus with him.  I just love Braxton he is so smart and kind.  He is very helpful and I will miss having him around the house to help.  But I know that as he goes to school he will make great choices and make friends with everyone around him.
Getting on the bus!  I was a little nervous to let Brax go on the bus but after talking to my friend she told me it was the best and easiest option.  Plus he is only on the bus for about 8 min and he does have  a older friend on there.  It has not been a problem at all and Braxton has really liked it!

I decided that I would surprise the boys on Braxton's first day of school so I made these Giant cookies for them!  They thought it was pretty cool!  I made for Corbin to so he would not feel left out!  Corbin really missed having his buddy gone all day then he had no one to play with.

When Braxton go home I asked him how his day was and he said it was good I really liked it but it was really long!  I liked when I did not have to go all day!  Geese mom I was there for 6 hours!  Did you miss me being gone for 6 hours!

Exploring Las Vegas

In August Kirk, Lindy and Brian decided to drive down to visit us.  It was really fun to see them plus Kevin had not seen Brian since he went on his mission so it was a fun reunion.  While they were here we decided to explore Las Vegas a little and see what would be fun to do with the kiddos in tow.  So we went down to M&M World down on the strip and the kids loved that!
We also got a babysitter and went and saw the Criss Angel Believe show.  It was okay I was not too impressed and he was kinda dirty too, the stuff he does on T.V. is way cooler!  Plus it said it was a cirque too it is not a cirque at all!  Soo lets just say that I would not recommend it.  I am sure there are a lot better shows out there.  This living in Vegas thing has a learning curve and we are trying to figure out how to do the fun things with out being exposed to all the crap!
Braxton is really into Mario so he was pretty excited when he saw Mario and Luigi out in front of M&M world.

I am getting pretty bad about taking pictures lately  we did some other things while they were out here too but I did not take any pictures!   But we had a great time having family come visit!  That is the great thing about living in Las Vegas we have already had multiple visitors and we love that.

My Cute Boys!

I love my cute boys!  They are all getting so big and changing so much!  Braxton is a big kid now and has lost his little boy look!  Dylan loves his brothers and wants to do anything that they are doing!  Corbin loves to play with Braxton I don't know what I am going to do when Braxton goes to school he is going to be lost with out him!

 Dylan is 9 Months old!!
He loves crawling now and pulling himself up to standing on everything!
He is at a stage where he does not want to hold still and will go exploring and getting into everything!
I have to watch him every second especially with his older Brothers toys around!
Dylan has 6 teeth already!  He has got his teeth faster then my other boys.
He is a great eater as you can tell!  He chews food well and is not really a fan of baby food but prefers our food but who can blame him!
He can say mama but does not necessarily do it for me.
He is a big mamas boy and wants me around a lot, he still does not take a bottle but does pretty good with the sippy cup now!
He is such a fun boy and we have loved having this cute little guy in our family!
 Gotta love those chubby cheeks!
So cute wild and crazy boys!
Braxton is into legos now and he built a lot of this ship by himself.  It took him 4 hrs! I helped him with the wings a little but he did a great job and is so proud of it!  It is really cute!

Going Private

So after having this blog up for forever I am using it more now as our scrapbook. With three kids I just don't get the time to scrapbook anymore!  With all the crazy things out there I figured I should probably make it private.  So if you would like to still be able to look at our blog I would love to let you! Just leave your email address in my comments or if you want it private you can message me on facebook then I can add you email to my list.
 Thanks Amanda

Checking out Vegas Just a little!

We took the boys to Silverton Casino they put on little mermaid  shows in the aquarium and its free. They also have feeding time for the fish which the boys liked a little more then the mermaid but they thought it was pretty cool that she got to swim in there!   They also have this really neat sports store right next door and the boys loved looking at everything there.   We are learning what is fun and OK to do with our kids here and where you don't want to take your kiddos!  But it has been a lot of fun so far and we have been enjoying the new area and all the different things to do!

Having fun in Utah!

I have to say I was so bad about taking pictures this time when we went to Utah.  I spent about 4 days with my Sister Amber who lives in Virginia.  We had a blast but I was too distracted to take any picture!  I will have to be better when we get together next time.  The kids had a blast playing with their cousins.  We even did a sleep over at my parents, the girls all painted our nails and watched movies while the boys were upstairs playing the play station.
When Brian got home I finally took some pictures.  We went boating up to Pineview and we had a blast!  I love boating and I have missed it!  We try to go when we go out to Utah to visit but I was pregnant last time so I did not get to do anything.  One day Kevin and I will buy a boat!  We all had a great time until the boat broke down.  We were out in a far cove and there was no one around to help tow us back in so we had to call the Sheriff dept to come give us a tow!  They were really good about it he says he has to do it all the time! But it made the trip memorable!

The day before we left Kelsey, Abbi, Kasen and Brenda came over to visit and I remembered to take a picture before we left!  But we had a great time with family and friends we love going to Utah!  Now we are a lot closer so we will be able to make more visit and people can visit us more!

Welcome Home Elder Baldwin!!

After we had only been in Vegas for about a week just enough time to get moved in the boys and me went to Utah to welcome home this Stalwart young man!   It has been a long two years since we have been able to see Brian!  WELCOME HOME ELDER BALDWIN!

Dylan has been waiting his whole life to meet him!  Dylan is inspecting his missionary tag very close!
It was pretty fun to watch Kirk and Lindy and how excited they were to have Brian home!  Some of the other family also came to welcome him home.  Some of Brian's good friends were there to welcome him home too!  Kirk thought it would be funny to have the Young Women from their ward make signs and to be there too.

Brian's friends and us went out to lunch after the airport.  I love watching missionaries when they just get home they never know what to do with themselves!  But it was sure fun to be able to be there!

Something already living at our new house!

When we moved into our house we did not realize that there were already tenants there.  The were furry and really cute!  Actually on our first day moving in a neighbor on the side of us asked us if we wanted any kittens.  She told us the people who lived in our house before us left a cat and it had kittens.  We were not really to interested in having a cat so we told her no thanks.  But then 2 days later we saw mama cat in our backyard and we watched her crawl into the little hole in our rocks (picture below).  So we got a flashlight and looked and there was a mom and 5 baby kittens living in our rock wall.  The boys loved it and thought that was pretty cool.   So we started to feed the mama cat and of course we played with the kittens they were so cute how could you say no to a face like that!  But I don't think mom liked us playing with her kittens because a couple days later she took all the kittens away and they have not been back since!  So who knows were mom and the kittens are but the boys had fun with them while they were here!
