Corbin Blessing

We blessed Corbin on Dec 6th. I am grateful his dad is a worthy priesthood holder and was able to give him an amazing blessing. He is such a cute little guy we are blessed to have him in our lives. Corbin is very laid back and a calm baby, he loves his food he is only 2 1/2 months old and he weighs 15 lbs! He has pretty much doubled his birth weight! He is only 21.5 inches long. So he is kinda short and chubby, I love it though his little thighs are so fat he has multiple rolls. He is growing so fast it is hard to believe. Luckily we will be in Utah in 2 days! I am so excited for our family to meet this little man!
He barely fit in his tuxs I had a hard time doing it up in the front and then his belly was hanging out of the bottom! I thought about getting a new one but the ones out here in OHIO have crosses all over them so this one had to work!
His cute little tails hanging down!

Christmas Card

It is hard to send all of our friends a Christmas Card so here is a copy of our card for everyone! We hope you all have a great Christmas!

It has been a great year for the Baldwin Family here in Columbus, Ohio. The biggest change in our life has been our new addition Corbin James Baldwin. He was born 09/30/09 weighing in at 7lb 14oz & 21 inches long. He has put on quite a bit more weight and is getting so chunky we love it! Corbin is a really cute and an easy going baby, he sleeps pretty good which mom is grateful for. It has been a lot of fun recently he has started to smile. He is such a joy we are grateful to have him in our family.

Braxton loves being a big brother! He has done so well with Corbin I have been shocked! He always asks to see the baby, wants to give him hugs and lay by him. Braxton is growing so fast, I can’t believe that he is already 3 years old it goes by so fast! He learns things so fast in fact he picks up a lot of things I don’t want him to learn too. Brax has multiple little friends he loves to play with, he is such a social little boy. We will be at the store and he will start asking random people what their names are or start saying hi to everyone! I think he definitely takes after his dad in that aspect. Braxton’s new obsession is Transformers! That is what he wants to talk about all the time and if you ask him about it you will be his new best friend. Being a parent of a toddler can be very frustrating at times but it is also very rewarding.

We love to travel so every year we try to go some place different and fun. This year we went to Chicago it was a great. We checked out downtown, the Field Museum, The Aquarium (which was amazing) and Lego Land (that was Braxton’s favorite). That is a big benefit about living in Ohio there are a lot of new places to go within driving distance. We also took a quick trip down to Cincinnati which was a nice get away. Braxton and I went to Utah while Kevin stayed home to study for boards (which he passed yay!). We love going home for visits we definitely miss everyone living so far away. We also get to go to Utah for Christmas, which we are all looking forward to.

Kevin has been doing really well in school. He is in his third year of dental school now and it is so much better! The first two years he would be in class all day then come home and study. I did not get to see him a lot but now he is in clinic working on patients all day, when he comes home he actually gets to spend time with us. Kevin likes school a lot better now he working on patients he is learning a lot and does a good job (I know I let him work on me). He has a year and a half left; it will be nice when he is finally done with school.

I have started back to work this month; it was nice having some time off with the baby. I like my job most of the time I am in the float pool at Doctors Hospital. I like the variety I work on a different floors so it’s always something new. It has been an adjustment having two kids but it is not as bad as I thought it would be. Working all night and only getting a few hours of sleep makes it interesting sometimes but it works. I love being a mom.

We have had a great year and hope you have too. We want to wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Love,

Kevin, Amanda, Braxton and Corbin Baldwin
