Our Cute New little Nephew

Kevin Brother Steven and his wife had a new little addition to the family. They named him Jaxton Mickolas Baldwin. He is a pretty cute little guy! We took him over to my Dad house to do a little photo shoot it was pretty fun Jaxton was being really good and happy so we got some cute pics!

Early Christmas Morning

We decided that we would do Christmas early so we did not have to take any of our stuff out to Utah. We usually get to much stuff to bring home as it is! We leave Tuesday morning so we did Christmas Morning today so Brax would get a couple of days to play before we left! When he woke up this morning he was so excited we told him Santa was coming and he kept saying Santa bring a race car! When he came down and saw a couple of big presents he was pretty excited! He wanted to open the big one right away! It is so fun having kids at Christmas especially when they get so excited about it! When we come out to Utah people will have to watch Braxton around the Christmas tree he will try to open everyone presents! We are so excited to be in Utah soon only a couple more days!

Kevin got his IPod Touch for Christmas he LOVES it! He also got a hair trimmer, shoes, belt, magic cards, play station games, & socks. I he liked them all! I got a jig saw and a sander I wanted for crafts, I got some new clothes I really needed some my pants were getting holes in them! Some movies, money for scrapbook stuff, & a belt! Thanks Kev for getting me what I wanted you did a good job! I love you! Merry Christmas everyone!

Getting ready for Christmas

We put up our Christmas tree and inside decorations before we went to my sisters house for Thanksgiving. We wanted to enjoy them longer because we are going to Utah Dec 16Th! We are so excited I love getting to see family again! That good thing about moving away is you miss everyone that much more! We had our first real snow fall last Saturday, Braxton was so excited to play in it to bad it is FREEZING cold outside! I have been having fun in our craft group we have made some cute things so far! Now that I have a house to decorate there are not a lot of cute crafts out here so we have to make our own! But it is fun to get some adult girl time every now and then! We hope to see everyone soon love you guys!!

It was the first decent snow fall of the year and Braxton kept saying go outside and play in the snow. So kevin was nice enough to take him! They had fun sliding in the snow and shoveling the drive way and sidewalk!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We went to my sisters house in Virginia for Thanksgiving! It was soo fun! I had to work Wednesday night so we left for their house when I got off Thursday. I slept in the car while Kevin drove, and Brax was being a good lil boy in the back seat so it worked very well. Then we showed up at my sisters house and my awesome sister had dinner under control so I did not really have to cook either! However we did both forget to take pictures of Thanksgiving dinner this year :( Friday Kevin, Braxs and myself went the Washington D.C. we have been there before so we checked out some sites we did not see last time like the Arlington Cemetery, The Pentagon, & Capitol Building! We took the train all over and Braxton was in heaven he LOVED the train he was so happy every time we got on it! The next day we just hung out at the house and went to the park, which was great the kids loved it! But we had a great relaxing weekend with family. THANKS Amber and Shane for letting us visit and feeding us food! Love YOU!

I also went to see TWILIGHT again with my sister because she wanted me too. I have to say I thought it was MUCH better the second time! The second time I went to just go see the show and enjoy it! I think the first time I watched it I picked at it a lot! It is actually pretty cute! So if you did not like it that much the first time you should see it again! I think I compared it too much to the book. But it is so hard because the books are so good! But they still did good with the movie too just not as good as the book!

TWILIGHT

So I went to go see Twilight opening night there was a big group of us that went to go see it. It was really fun to go with all the girls and stay up late! But I have to say I was disappointed in the movie! WARNING I AM GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE MOVIE SO IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT THEN STOP READING! But I guess its not that big of a deal because you already know the story, I am just talking about characters.

Edward- I don't really like Edward that much I thought his acting at the beginning was TERRIBLE! But toward the end he did get much better and there were times I actually thought he was pretty cute. I know they can't really pick someone that is going to please everyone but I thought they could of got a much better Edward! Please cute your hair a little shorter it is so long and a bit out of control!

Bella- I actually liked Bella a lot, I thought she fit the character in the book really well and she was pretty closed to what I pictured for Bella! I thought she did a good job acting how Bella would have.

I really liked Alice and Emmet I thought they picked perfect people for them! Rosalie could have been much prettier and jasper was well kinda creepy in the movie but I guess that worked for jasper! The thing that bugged me the most about this movie was the special effects come on if they can make other movies realistic they could of done a much better job on this, for example the skin on Edward in the sunlight could that have looked more retarded! It was funny because the running looked so stupid sometime and then other times it actually looked good. The music that played almost the whole time was a little annoying too! Okay sorry I just ripped on a show I guess most people liked. It did have a lot of cute parts still and I would still see the second one. The last half of the show was much better then the first part so when we got done I was thinking it was okay. I know books are always better then the movie but I guess I was just disappointed because I thought they could have done a much better job! This book did not seem like it would have been that hard to make a movie. I want to know what you guys thought so leave me a comment and tell me what you thought, its okay if you don't agree with my bad review!

Family Pictures!

So we went and had our family pictures done recently and they turned out really good! Of course how pictures usually go 20 min into the session Braxton decided it would be fun to trip over a sprinkler and fall head first onto a brick! Well family pics do not go so well when your child is screaming his head off! Well he cried and was very grumpy. But luckily our photographer Kara Hagberg (this is her link if any you are interested she did a great job!http://karahphotography.blogspot.com/) was still able to get some good shots and photo shop out Braxton red forehead! The last 10 min Braxton started to get happy so we pulled over and got some cute shots last seconds! I was happy with the results especially with how grumpy Braxton was I was surprised we got any cute pictures!
