Summer FUN

This summer we have had a lot of fun however I have not been that good about actually taking pictures.  I think it was because I did not want to have more pictures I needed to scrapbook.  Well not really I was just getting lazy about doing it.  We have spent the summer swimming, playing at parks, and hanging out with friends.  The boys have loved swimming and Braxton even learned to swim this summer with out lessons maybe this winter I will sign him up for lesson so he can get better.

We had the opportunity to go camping with one of my good friends from Utah.  Crystals family was camping at  The Cove Palisades State Park, it was about 2 hrs from us near Bend Oregon. We drove through some beautiful areas to get there as we got closer we were wondering where in the world are we going camping.  It looked like we were going to camp in a field with no trees.  As we got closer we realized that there is big canyon and there was a lake in there it was pretty neat.
These are some of the only pictures I took camping how sad is that!  But the boys enjoyed their Popsicle on a hot day!
A  ice cream truck came through  the campground everyday.
The beautiful lake area, I realized that I did not take any pictures so I snapped these as we were driving home.

After we went camping Crystal, her kiddos, and her sister came to stay with us on their way up to Seattle to  visit her parents.  We had a great time I loved having them out here, however I don't think I got one picture of me and crystal!
The kids had a blast together, we went to the coast to show them around.  We checked out the crabbing dock and people were really nice about showing the kids their catches for the day.  They are all checking out a starfish here.
Braxton was the only one willing to hold this giant Crab some random guy caught!
Goofy Kids, Kali, Corbin and Braxton
 Playing in the waves!

A starfish we found floating around!
Exploring caves! Corbin, Crystal, Kali, Courtney, and Braxton

These two had so much fun playing together.  They got along so well and it made it so easy because they would just go off and play!  When Kali left Braxton said, "Mom I miss Kali now who am I supposed to talk to and play with"  I said, "Your brother and us".  Braxton, "Mom it needs to be someone my age!"

Blurb Books

I have been into scrapbooking since we have been married and I have a lot of scrapbooks.  Well when we moved this last time a lot of the guys in the ward were not to happy about carrying all my books and scrapbook stuff upstairs.  A couple of them mentioned to Kevin if I have ever tried digital scrapbooks.  No I have not because I enjoy scrapbooking.  However that being said I have gotten pretty behind and before I have a new baby I always try to catch up but when you are about 2 yrs behind that makes it a bit difficult.  I have heard of people turning there blogs into books so  I decided I would give it a try.  I used blurb books and it turned out really well!  It was nice I was able to finish 6 months of pictures and blog posts in 2 days. It took all my posts from the blog and added it to a strip then I just organized how I wanted them.  The book is  actually pretty cute and it is smaller and a lot lighter then my huge scrapbooks.  With the third kid on the way I just don't have the time I used to have so I think I will start making these books instead.  However I  think I will still scrapbook the kids individual books for them. I just take their yearly pictures and special events and put them in their own book and tell about them at each milestone. I am blogging this because that means I will be better about posting and I will be more detailed about things.  We will see how good I am about this!

Our new Addition!

I realized I have not done a blog post just about this baby yet.  So here is some info and pics about this pregnancy.  Kevin and  I were trying to get pregnant for about 9 months before it finally happened with this little one.  It seems like each of my pregnancy it is taking longer and longer to get pregnant. I think my body only likes to get pregnant every 3 years, now all my boys are almost exactly 3 years apart.   We were pretty excited when we found out we had a little one on the way.  My first appointment was pretty early I went in at only 7 weeks so my ultrasound showed a little bean with a heart beat! Its so neat to hear the heart beat for the first time.

I don't usually get to sick when I am pregnant, however this little one wanted to make me a little more nauseous then the other boys.  It takes a lot to make me throw up so at least I was not puking I know a lot of women  who get it way worse then me.  Then I had the normal feeling tired episodes but nothing to out of the ordinary. At about 11 wks I was having some really bad pain in my Right upper quadrant of my abdomen and went into my doctor and they did another ultrasound.  Everything was okay with the baby but they think I had a gallbladder attack, I had one with Braxton too.  Luckily no stones.  The good thing about it was I got to see the little one again and it was no longer a little bean it was a baby! The boys thought the baby looked like batman because the black part looks like the batman symbol so they started calling it the batman baby!
Outside view of the baby bump!  Its amazing how much bigger you get on your 3rd time around!

I was so excited to find out what we were having!  In fact I tried to cheat while I was at work, we have a Ultrasound machine in the ER so I tried to look myself but I could not tell the little one kept turning his back to me! So I had to wait until we got back from our Utah Trip so I was 21 weeks when I went in to find out. This is the little foot!
The Profile picture!
This is the money shot that the little man shows his goods.  It is definitely a boy!  I was kinda hoping for a girl since I already have two boys but I was still excited about a boy!  Apparently that is what Kevin and I do best is make cute boys!  The boys were not to happy with it though the video of us telling them what we are is  HILARIOUS! However it is not wanting to upload so  I will have to do that on a different post!  But we are excited to welcome this little guy into our family!

Lagoon

Our trip to Utah was a very fun but also a very busy trip because we played a lot.  We went to Lagoon twice because we had some bounce back tickets.  The kids loved it, I have never spent a lot of time in the kid portion of lagoon but they have a lot for them to do.  Since I was pregnant and could not go on any good rides I was with the kiddos all day, but I still had a good time.
Elsha and Jaxton on the dragoon drop.
Corbin on the dragoon drop, Corbin was our little wild man there he was not afraid of anything!  It was so cute on this ride to because he put his arms up himself I did not tell him too.  I looked down and he had his had in the air on the drop and kept them up the whole time.  When I rode this ride with Braxton I told him to put his arms up and he said, "Mom they told you to keep your hands on the safety rail at all times so that is what I am doing!"  Well alright little Mr. follow all the rules I guess I better keep my hands on the safety rail!
 Chole and Braxton
I have been on Rattle snake rapids many times and have NEVER got this soaked I felt like I just jumped in a lake with all my clothes on.  My shoes were sloshing around because they had so much water in them.  I was also wearing jeans which don't ever dry very well and to top it off we were smart enough to go on this ride in the evening so I was never going to dry.  So I decided to go put my swimsuit cover up on instead of  my jeans.  Well that helped but I did not match very well since I had a light blue shirt on with a purple dress.  Hey its a new fashion statement.
Going on the Farris Wheel, of course Corbin was not afraid of it at all in fact he thought it would be a good idea to try to jump out of the cart.  I asked him, "Corbin are you having fun?"  Corbin's response was, "Ya lets jump!" lets not jump we do want to live!  Crazy kid!
Braxton feelings were a little different as you can tell the heights kinda freaked him out,  He was not a big fan of us spinning the cart but I guess he is just like his dad cuz Kevin did not like the heights that much either!
It was funny because Elsha was the one who wanted to go on this ride and she was terrified the whole time! She sat there with here eyes closed freaking out!  It kinda made me laugh!
Corbin on the Merry go round

Braxton on the Merry go round, it was raining really hard when we bounced back we all had to buy ponchos and we sloshed around in the rain.  It made it a interesting experience.  It stopped in the early evening which made it a lot funner after that.   We all had a great time and it was really nice of Kirk and Lindy to take us thanks guys!

Fun in Utah

While we were in Utah Braxton was a lucky little guy and he got to celebrate his Birthday again.  We were able to have family and friends over for cupcakes and dinner.  Thanks everyone for coming!
 Opening Presents
Fun at the fish farm, the kids loved it!  They were so fun to watch them catch the fish and be able to feed the fish!

 Braxton's big catch.
 Corbin's big catch!
Thor corbin, he really wanted to try on Jaxton's helmet.
While we were in Utah we went camping for a night, we played in the river and went on a hike up to a waterfall.  The kids loved it and had a great time.  They loved playing in the river and throwing rocks.  We went hiking up the river and Corbin is a little crazy man and is not afraid of anything.
 Both the Grandmas and Braxton!
Braxton at the waterfall he was the only kiddo that went on the hike with us.
