Halloween Party

We had a great time with a group of our friends over for a Halloween party. I love Halloween time it is one of my favorite holidays. I really wanted to have a Halloween party so we just had a couple people over played some games and had a great dinner. Thanks for coming everyone!

Beggars Night

Here in Columbus they usually do Beggars Night the Thursday before Halloween I am not sure why but that is what we do. Kevin stayed home to hand out candy and study and I went around with the boys. It was so cute to watch Braxton and how excited he was about it. Corbin thought it was pretty cool that he had a bucket of treats in front of him, however he was not to happy about the mittens on his hands because then he could not grab it.

This little guy did great he sat in the wagon most of the night but he was pretty happy to get some treats as we walked along. How could you resist giving this cute little guy candy. Of Course it had to be cold, the weather has not been to bad but then it was pretty cold on Halloween.

The boys were very pleased with their hoard. Braxton loved going through his candy and seeing what he got. I remember that was the best part of Halloween looking to see what you got. Corbin loves the sucker he was attacking them at one point he had one in his mouth and two in each hand.

Braxton got way to much candy and he did a great job TRICK OR TREATING. He had SOOO many comments on how cool his costume was. People would be across the street and say oh look at the Astronaut that costume is so cool.

Family Fun

On Corbin's actual Birthday we just had a little family celebration and I made cup cakes. Corbin loves animals so we did a cupcake monkeys and lions.

Kevin had a day off of school so we went to COSI since it was Corbin's Birthday and he loved it! He loves crawling all over and exploring all sorts of different fun things to do.

RAMBOW BABY! So every time Corbin grabs this necklace he puts it on like this. He also loves to grab this car track and play sword fight with it. It is crazy to me he is only a year old yet he knows how to sword fights WITH sound effects!

My Good Looking Hubby

We made smoothies one night and Braxton's fell in his face when he tried to take a drink and I couldn't resist taking this picture! The funny thing was at first he was on the verge of crying until I started to laugh at him then he decided it was funny instead of crying. Braxton was pretty sick the last week and you know how it is when you are sick you kinda get catered to. Well now he is makes a big deal about everything and starts crying over the dumbest things I am getting so frustrated. Luckily it is starting to get a little better but man this kid can be perfectly fine one minute then crazy the next I never know what he is going to do!

Picking Apples

We went to a orchard in Sunbury where you can eat all the apples you want while your there and pick a bunch to take home. I don't think I ever realized that there was so many different types of apples. There were over 100 different types of apples so it was fun to go through and find what ones you like the best.

Corbin love chewing on the apples he would suck one dry and chew one then he would want another one & he would get so excited every time it was so cute!!

Braxton loved picking apples with this hook he also thought it was pretty cool to smash the apples on the ground with the hook.

Braxton always the cheese ball wanted to try to climb this tree he did not make it very far.

Corbin and his food, you give this little guy something to eat and he is a happy camper.

CORBIN'S 1 YEAR OLD!!!!

Corbin is a YEAR old! I can't believe how fast that went by. He has grown so fast it seems weird that he is already a 1 yr old. Corbin has such a sweet personality he is so quick to smile and laugh. He is so curious now he has to be in the middle of everything if you working on something he has to check it out to see if is something he may want.

The is no wondering why we call this little guy chubs!! He loves his food!! If you are eating ANYTHING around him he will crawl up and start whining at your feet until you give him something.

He really is liking climbing up on everything he can! He loves to walk along furniture and behind his push toy but he is not walking by himself yet. He will walk holding you hand but when we try to get him to walk to Kevin or Myself he just starts laughing and will act like he is going to take a step but then he just fall into us an starts to laugh. He can stand up by his self with out support of anything but he might still be a way off of walking. He loves the stairs and can climb up them great and is starting to climb down pretty good but I don't trust him on his own yet I get a little nervous since I had to watch the poor little guy tumble down the stairs.

Corbin LOVES Braxton! He is his favorite, he has to do anything Braxton is doing! Corbin follows Braxton all over the house. If Braxton is playing a toy then Corbin wants it let me tell you how many battles that has turned into! He gets so excited when Braxton sits down to play with him. I hope they will continue to be great buddies.

This little guy likes to babble and talk, he does say a few words he says HOT when ever you take him by the stove. He will say Allllll Done (all done) sometimes when he is done with his food and some times just when ever. He says uh oh, mum, dada & bye bye. He tries to copy some sounds you make when you are talking and can get a out the first part of some other words. He now waves and will blow kisses. I love one year olds and watching them learn and grow so fast.

You can't see them very well but he now has four teeth, two bottom ones and two upper ones. His lateral on top are coming in too the poor guy got them all at the same times but he just got them in about 2 weeks before his Birthday.

I love this little look when he is acting shy. This little guy can be so cuddly and loving and other times when he is ready for bed he will just push you away and he wants to be laid down. I love it when we are playing and he will crawl over and just lay his head on my lap and look up at me and just want me to tickle him for a minute and then off he goes. He favorite toys to play with are things that he has to take in and out. He loves the barn we got him for his Birthday and loves to put the animals in and out. He Loves animals too he gets so excited when he sees them and he goes ooooo ooooo It is so fun to see his excitement!

I have not taken the chubs to a doctor yet but his appointment is soon so I will have to put on his 1 year stats when I get them.

This little man is such a joy and we love him so much he has been such a blessing in our lives . We love you Corbin stop growing soo fast your getting to big! My baby is already 1!

Oregon Trip

A lot of people already know that after Kevin is done with dental school we will probably not be going back to Utah. After a lot of thinking and prayer we decided an area we feel we should be is Oregon. Kevin had a recent break for two weeks so we went and dropped the kiddos off in Utah with the Grandparents. Then Kevin and I went on a road trip through Oregon to narrow down the places that we would be interested in moving too. One of our favorite places was Corvallis, Oregon it was a smaller town but it had a lot of personality and all the things we would need. We also like the Salem area and we loved Portland and the surrounding areas. Portland has to be one of the prettiest cities I have ever been too, we LOVED it! We did not take that many picture we did more video's but here are a few of Portland.

There are people that have houses right on the river I don't know that I would want that but it is pretty cool.

Look how lush it is everywhere there! It is amazing when you are on some random road and your driving through tunnels of trees.

It was nice to just be able to spend time with Kevin and not have the little ones to worry about the whole time. They would have had a really hard time with all the driving we did on this trip. There was a TON of driving but it was still great.

Walking along a path by the rose garden, wouldn't you love to live here you have mountains, beautiful lush landscaping! Now the challenge comes to find the right job or opportunity we are not sure exactly what we are doing but we are excited for the up coming journey. It does make me a little anxious when I don't know where we will be in a year. I guess we will see.
