Braxton 4th Birthday

Braxton really wanted a how to train your dragon birthday part so that is what he got! We had a lot of fun with it, Kevin learned how to make balloon swords, he was a pro by the end of the party. They also made shields from paper plates and a cardboard boat to play in! The boys loved the balloon swords and they enjoyed attacking anyone who came near them. We also had a dragon pinata that the kiddos had a lot of fun with! We had pizza, cake and ice cream yum yum! I asked Braxton later that night what his favorite part was and he said "umm opening presents, oh and playing with my friends". Thanks everyone for coming Braxton had a great time and loved all his presents.

Opening Presents

Blowing out the Birthday Candles! Everyone helped.
Kevin was a Bad Dragon

Enjoying their pizza!

Corbin wanted to try on a hat too!
Waiting for the party to start!

Birthday Boy! I was talking to Braxton on his Birthday and I said, "Braxton today is your birthday are you 4 years old?" Braxton,"well I am not 4 yet" Me, "yes you are it is your birthday today". Braxton touches his face the says "well mom I don't have a mustache yet".

Birthday Cake I made it my self, I am not very good but Braxton liked it.

Mr. Mischievous himself!

Braxton got spoiled this year he got a new bike and helmet from Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin, a camera from Grandpa & Grandma Thomas, a big Lego set from Kevin & me. He also received some Lego sets from Uncle Steve, Elsha & Brian. Thanks everyone he loves his presents!
Some things about Braxton at 4 years old
  • He is way talkative and will talk to ANYONE who will pay attention to him.
  • Is not afraid to walk up to ANYONE even scary looking people at the fireworks (scary).
  • Love to play with friends he is always asking me what are we going today mom?
  • Still loves to play with cars, transformers, legos, pretty much anything boy!
  • He loves you to read to him, and go to the library.
  • Learning to read, there are some words he knows and recognizes.
  • Is starting to actually draw pictures and shapes instead of just scribbling on the page.
  • Listens great when you don't want him to hear, but ignores you when you talk to him.
  • Pretty good about cleaning up his toys when I ask him to, he loves to help me and be my big helper.
  • Loves making his little brother laugh, he plays pretty good with Corbin.
  • Likes to sing and make up new words to common songs he knows.
  • He is definitely a mini version of Kevin in looks and personality, I am surprised at how much he acts like Kevin sometimes.

Braxton we both love you so much you a definitely a special boy we are grateful to have you in our lives. Sometimes you test my patients to the limits but I love you and you have such a sweet spirit. We look forward to watching you grow and learn.

seriously, it makes me sad to see his birthday because it seems not to long ago that we were pregnant together and everytime we would go to the doc we would compare updates....it was so fun! And now they are 4!! Happy birthday braxton:)
