While Kirk and Lindy were visiting we thought it would be fun to drive down to San Francisco to see the sights. I have never been there so I was pretty excited to go. We ordered some GO San Francisco cards, for people who are not familiar with theses they are awesome. They have them in most major cities and it is a good way to see a lot of different things for one price, you pay one price and then they send you a book and you can get into everything in the book for free. They work really good with kids to because their attention span is so short so you can check out a lot of different things and not feel like you getting ripped off because you did not spend the normal entrance fee to get in. We have used them in a couple different cities and we really like them.
We were waiting to get on the city trolley tour and Lindy gave Corbin a sip of her coke! I love his face in this picture! This kid cracks me up.
Our tour guide stopped at this church and gave us a couple minutes to go check out the inside it was beautiful. It had a lot of stain glass windows that were amazing!
Corbin got a little tired on the tour and fell asleep.
We had lunch at the Rain-forest Cafe expensive but always a fun environment.
We went into this wax museum because it was free and thought it might be fun. This was my first time in one and lets say I would never do it again I thought it was weird! They did have this chair and it was showing something then something scary popped out at you it was kinda funny.
We checked out the aquarium and the boys thought that was pretty neat.
We went on a boat tour that took you to golden gate bridge and around Alcatraz it was neat to see the bridge that close up. It would of been fun to go on a tour of Alcatraz but it was like $80.00 a person. I don't think I want to see it that bad!
That is Alcatraz behind me.
The captain let Corbin drive the boat he was pretty excited!
Inside that neat church.
The Golden Gate Bridge.
We went to Children's museum there and the boys loved it and had a lot of fun playing with all the fun stuff!
These huts were so cool, there were live plants that they weaved together to make different shapes it was amazing!
They had tons of different toys to play with at the Children's Museum and they wanted to climb the tree that is awesome! It was a really cool tree.
This is the windiest road in america we drove down it and it was very twisted! The roads in San Fran are crazy it is one thing to see it on T.V. but it just does not do it justice. Some of the the roads are so steep it is crazy, you feel like your on a roller coaster! Braxton thought it was awesome and said when he grows up he is going to move to San Francisco.
This was a fun little diner that we ate dinner at, it was good and a fun environment.
We had a great time on our way home we went to check out the redwoods that will be the next post!
