Corvallis Here we come!!

We finally made a decision about were we are going to live. We are moving to Corvallis Oregon. For those of you who have no idea were that is, its between Eugene 45 min away and Portland about a 1 hr away. It is home to Oregon State University so I guess we will become another OSU fan just a different one. But once your a buckeye fan you always will be. But your allowed to like more then one team right!

We are pretty excited about the job opportunity. When Kevin and I drove through Oregon last fall we loved the Corvallis area it was beautiful. The population size is about 50,000 people it kinda has a feel of Logan, Utah. Kevin will be working with Mid-Valley Associates, which is a group of 4 different dentist they have multiple different offices. Kevin will be working in a new offices they just bought where the doctor they bought it from will be training Kevin on some new techniques like laser work and implants. It is great opportunity and we are so excited that it all worked out.

It was kinda funny how we found this job after our trip last fall we had mentioned to some friends out here The Sorenson's that we loved the Corvallis area. Well Aimee said that her sister in law lived in Albany (which is right by Corvallis) she asked her if she knew of any dentist that might need some help. Well she had some Dentist in her ward and she gave us his e-mail address and well it all worked out. I love the Mormon connection! It's nice because all the Partners in the Practice are LDS. When I tell people that we are moving to Oregon their next question is usually "well do you have family out there?" No, " Well do you know someone out there?" Not really, "Are you scared to move to a new area were you don't know any one" nope! That is one of the great things about the Church, you know you will have a support system where ever you go. I am not worried about moving to a new area because I know we will have church members out there that we will be friends with, that will help us if we need it. Like I said I love being a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Here are some pictures of the Corvallis area! I know this waterfall is a short hike away and there are multiple falls along the way!! We love the outdoors and are excited to see and explore some of these new areas! Newport Beach is only 45 min way maybe I will learn how to surf? I better get a wet suit!

Now all we have to do is sell our house in OHIO and find a nice place to rent in Corvallis!!

Graduation Luau

The Dental School had a Luau for the 2011 Graduate!! I am so proud of Kevin with all his hard work during school. You are amazing and always made time for us even when you were way busy. The hard thing is now we have to join the real world. We will no longer be in the student phase of our lives! It has been so frustrating being in the transition stage, I feel like I am going crazy. We don't know exactly where we will be moving to yet, we have not sold out house and we want to leave towards the end of June thats next month!! We are such planners this has been so hard for us not knowing!! Geese where has the time gone its already been 4 years! We have a pretty good opportunity in Corvallis, Oregon which is an area we love but they are taking so long to give us a final decision. Kevin is always on top of things though and has a couple of backups if that does not work out. Hopefully this week we will be able to have some firm decisions made but we will see. It will be interesting to see where all our friends from Dental School end up, we are not the only ones who are not sure where they are going yet. Good luck everyone!
James, Nate, Bart, Tyler, & Kevin
We had a great time at the luau with all our friends! It always nice to get together and talk! It is even funner when we don't have the little ones around!
Katie, Kara, Rachel, Sunny, Me & Candice.
Poor Kevin does not get sick very often but when he does he gets really sick!! This poor guy got food poisoning a couple days earlier and he pucked so bad he broke blood vessels in his face! He had two black eyes and red dots all over his face. This picture is a improvement of what he looked like before!

Random Update

Agent Corbin & Agent Braxton

I used some of these pictures for a Birthday card they were so cute of the boys I had to post them.

This little guys is not afraid of ANYTHING!! He is our little dare devil! He loves the water so much when you get him out of the bath and get him dressed he wants to jump back in! At Braxton's school recently they had the big blow up slides, obstacle course and a bounce house. I thought Corbin would not be able to do much because he is so small but that did not stop him. He climbed to the top of the big slide by himself, he went through the obstacle course and climbed over that steep slide by himself and he was even having fun in the bounce house with all the big kids bouncing him all over. He just wants to do EVERYTHING brother does!! His new favorite things is to jump off the couch on to pillows!

Posted by PicasaEvery year the Young Women in our ward have a dessert auction for girls camp. It is such a fun ward activity everyone brings different desserts and good chili and soup. You get some amazing things! This year I decided to make this fruit bouquet it turned out so good and was not to hard to make either! Of course we had some extra chocolate strawberries we enjoyed the boys loved them hey lets be honest so did mom! Thanks Jessica for teaching me how to do perfect chocolate covered strawberries!

Easter Fun

Corbin Really enjoys his pudding!

Getting ready to color easter eggs!
Braxton had fun with the easter stickers.

Posted by PicasaLook at all the fun things the easter bunny and Grandma brought! We had a great easter we were able to enjoy the day as a family had a great meeting at church, then we went over to our friends house for dinner! Happy Easter!

My Boys

For Mothers day I wanted to get some pictures of the boys to send to the Grandma's well I had been attempting to get some pictures for a couple of weeks but the weather here in Columbus has not been helpful I think it has rained pretty much everyday since March. There may have been a couple sunny days in there but not much! So when there was a nice day we took the opportunity however Corbin was not feeling that great so I did the best I could with kiddos who did not want to cooperate!
Braxton giving be a flower for mothers day! What a sweet little man!

I love his Big Blue eyes!!
Corbin has the best pouty lip you have ever seen! Here is a glimpse however he sticks it out even further then this! I had to take a picture!
You think this guy would be old enough to sit still for a picture! You would be wrong! I was lucky I got any! But when I do get a picture he looks so cute and he is getting so big!! I can't believe he will be 5 in a month!!
I love these chubby cheeks!

This was the best picture I could get of the two of them together that is next to impossible!! Well at least that day! Sometimes they will pose better for me!
I love that Braxton did this pose all by himself!

Posted by PicasaThe bad thing about taking pictures by the water is all the boys want to do is throw things in it!

Mothers day was pretty good at the Baldwin household!! I went shopping and got some cute new outfits, Kevin watched the boys so I could go to a movie and shopping with my friends. Then Kevin let me take a break on mothers day while he took care of the boys. They were being a little wild on Mothers day though so I felt bad for Kevin and had to help him out! I love all my boys!! They keep me busy but I love them and would not change anything! Thanks for a great mothers day!

The Grand Turk

Visiting the Grand Turk!! This was a beautiful island we had a lot of fun exploring the island.
We rented this high quality little car to cruise the island it was fun to be able to have the freedom to drive where ever we wanted to!! We were able to drive to the lighthouse and go to two different beaches it was a lot of fun.
The water was so clear we had to take a underwater picture, I don't know how mike opened his eyes in salt water ouch!!

Captains Beach in the Grand Turk!! This beach was way nice with white sand and crystal clear blue water. The only thing it was missing was a old lady in a thong and old guy in a speedo oh wait a minute it did have one of those!! Kevin wanted us to take a picture so he could cherish the memory forever!! Kevin and mike were cringing and saying there are just some things that you can not unsee.
Enjoying hanging out WITHOUT the kiddos!! Loving the sun!
The light house on The Grand Turk, I am thinking it might need a little paint job!
A overlook, the water was amazing, all the different colors it was so pretty!
