Our Move to Oregon

We have had a lot of changes in the last month! Kevin graduated from school, we went visited the family in Utah, Kevin got a job, we moved across half way across the country! With all the changes it has been hard getting the boys on a schedule. But we are finally starting to settle in here which is nice.

When we moved out here my parents were nice enough to come out and help us move in. We were also able to do some fun activities with them here. Mid Valley Dental associates which is who Kevin works for sponsored some donkeys at the rodeo. They asked Kevin to ride one of the Donkeys in the Donkey race and it was the funniest thing I have seen. He fell off multiple times almost got ran over by a donkey, I got scared for a second but once I saw he was fine I continued laughing! He did run over the poor rodeo Queen geese Kevin learn how to steer your donkey! But they did pretty good they came in dead last their donkey went and stood by the side and would not move at all until some guy came up and kicked it in the butt!

We also went out to Newport Beach which was beautiful. It was really windy though and the water was FREEZING! But we still had fun with it. I felt bad though because poor Corbin fell into the cold water and we were not in swim suits but clothes and it was a long walk back to the car! When we went to leave he was so mad an was trying to go back in the water! We also went to the Newport Aquarium which was fun and neat to see some of the animals. It was fun exploring the area and seeing some of the beautiful sites! Thanks Mom and Dad for coming out to help us.

We are really liking it in Oregon so far, our house is a little small but it works for now we are just renting. Hopefully our house in Ohio will sell soon! It was been a tough market and we still have not sold our house which has been disappointing. I guess we will see what happens. Our ward is really nice and we are making new friends out here which always makes life easier. There are a lot of boys Braxton age in our ward and he is loving all the boys to play with! We actually have multiple people in our ward that live in our neighborhood or really close to it. I think this was a really good change for us and we are enjoying it so far.
