Fun with the BOys!

The boys have been really good about cleaning their room!  They get a paid for doing there chores, not much but it motivates them and it is helping us teaching them about money!  Corbin just started being good at cleaning up about 2 months ago.  Before when we would clean up he would help a little but now he is awesome the other day we were having people over and the boys had toys out in their room and downstairs.  Well I told them they had to have it picked up before people could play well Mr. Corbin went downstairs and  picked up all the toys by himself and put everything where it was supposed to go.  I  gave him a lot of praise for that now he is a great little helper!! He is getting so big!
Braxton is a really good helper!  Sometimes too good!  He always wants to help me clean up around the house and is very good about doing his jobs and he loves getting paid now.  His jobs include making his bed and picking up his toys!

We went to The Wacky Indoor Bounce, which is in Covallis and it was a lot of fun!  What boys would not love running around jumping on things!  What mom does not love when her boys are out of energy!!

Braxton loves the slides!
These slides were a little harder for Corbin to climb up because they only had the little square instead of the bar across he kept getting ran over by kids because he was so slow!  But he made it all by himself!

I loves these cute boys they keep me busy thought!   It is nice to take them places like this though because nap times is great!

Geese I am a OLD Lady!!

Geese I can't believe that I am getting so old!  This is my last year in my twenties!  I am now 29 years old, my mom said this is the year that you stop having Birthdays!  Is it possible to keep having Birthdays but not get any older?
I decided it would be fun to have some friends over for and just have some yummy desserts.  I requested this fruit and chocolate from Kevin because it is my favorite!

Mmmm food, apparently I wanted to take more pictures of that then the people who actually came so sorry peeps for not including a picture, I have been bad about taking pictures lately. For example we had a big fun super bowel party and did I take one picture nope see what a slacker I am! I am trying to get caught up on my scrap-booking so I think my subconsciousness does not want me  to take a lot of pictures!

My friend Jamie made this Vanilla Bean Cheese cake and it was DELICIOUS!!  I love it!!  Thanks for making it for me!

Posted by PicasaSo I finally got my Kitchen Aid!!!  When Kevin and I were first married we were given a Kitchen Aid from the Aunts and Uncles,  which I was really excited about. But when we were first married we lived in a tiny apartment and it had a VERY small kitchen plus the fact that I really could not cook very well!  I have gotten better over the years.  But Kevin and I decided there were other things we really could us at the time instead  of the Kitchen Aid so we took it back (I should have never agreed to that!)  But Kevin promised me he would get me one later.  Well its been 8 years but I finally got one! I have used it and it makes baking and mixing easier!  Thanks Kevin for getting me my Kitchen aid!

On our way back home we missed traxs by 3 min because they delayed our train because the train was full so we had to wait on the train for a hour before it left.  I was surprised though because the kids were really pretty good but I think we got home around 10:00 so it was pretty late but fun!

Crabbing

I have never been crabbing and when Kirk and Lindy came down they wanted to go so we did. We went to Florence to see some of the sites down there and that is where we decided to go crabbing. We rented 2 nets and it every time we pulled up a net there was some crabs in there, we could not always keep them but it was fun to do through the little ones back in.

Lindy holding her crab

This was a disgusting fish head Kevin got for bait it was so gross but I guess the crabs liked it.

Picking up a crab is kinda scary but we showed Braxton how to do it and he was not afraid at all he loved picking up the crab and throwing them back in.

Pulling up a net full of crabs. Corbin was a little difficult to watch here because we were crabbing off a dock with no fences so we had to make sure he did not fall in the water.

Fun with Kirk and Lindy

We have a lot of visitors since we moved here and I got behind on my blogging. I never posted the pictures of Kirk and Lindy trip when they came out in September. We had a great time with them here and were able to go visit a lot of places.
We went up to Silver Creek Falls and showed them some of the beautiful falls.
We love the Devil's Punch bowel area it is so neat to go in there when the tide is low! They have amazing tide pools and these neat rock formations!

Lindy Loves the ocean and the tide pools we had so much fun exploring and teaching the kids about sea creatures we came across. Lindy is showing Braxton the bottom of a star fish we found floating in the water.

There were so many Star fish it was fun to see them. Braxton was pretty excited when we were finding little tiny crabs in the sand to. He got pretty good at finding them.

We also went to the Sea Lions cave which was pretty neat. When we went though their were not that many sea lions in there but they had pictures of times when the whole cave is full of sea lions it just depends on the time of the year.
